Wow.Glad you're okay, man.
This past saturday we met up at Davis. My first Subaru meet and greet follow up with cruise and BBQ.After the initial meet up in davis shopping centre, we ended up at Dry creek road in Napa.
I don't know what happened but I'm coming up on a turn and hit gravel afterwhich slamming into embankment followed by airbag deploying, the car spinning and flipping over. Heck, the airbag could've deployed as soon as vehicle flipped I don't even remember.
Normally I'd get into details about CHP berating me but I'll keep it short this time.
"How fast were you going"Thanks I'm literally bloody. I don't know I just crawled out of my car and I've been told I've a cut on my head. You want me to guess? 25-35
"Between me you and that tree over there. At the velocity your vehicle traveled, there's no way you were going 25mph.
Elder peace officer ( G Rocco ):
"You're from Lincoln and you're up here on a sunday ( it's really saturday ) cruise?"Yeah, people drive from sacramento to SF to get to Pier 39 I figure it would be legal for guys to cruise together doing the same thing on roads while observing the laws and regulations
I'm happy that B-pillars in these things are 13 some layers thick of materials. There was article awhile back on car magazine. In addition CG-lock really helped because it prevented me from hitting the roof harder than what it could have. I bumped my head and had apparently a cut and didn't even realize it.
Buddy's wife said "I don't want to be mean but if you hadn't been as short as you are, your injuries would've been worse"Even now I've discovered some cuts from windshield but it's not bad. My left elbow looks like an animal ravaged it and it cuts looks to be a bacon.
I've couple of friends who mentioned:
Cars are metal on four wheels, life cannot be replaced...
People don't come back, cars do...
On bright side, if you guys scroll down watch the video "old lady yellin", you'll see me few minutes in behind my buddy in the black impreza RS.

I just realized that'll be the last video of my car
Inspite of the misfortune, the meet and greet was great. 120+ miles of twists and turns, clean cars and more importantly upstanding people. No one was acting like they knew it all or drove like a jackass. There were no cliques whatsoever. Furthermore, I am glad I didn't hurt anyone or cause chain of collision.

Damn, glad to see you're still alive. A car is a car, that can always be replaced, your life cannot. Hope you feel better.![]()
Damn Ivan. Glad to hear you're okay, all things considered. It was definitely great to be around my friends when I shattered my collar bone on my bike. Good food, good friends, pain killers, & beer.
